Hello all I've booked my plane flight for 22 April 2014, I'm so excited already! I've had some advertising from Mountain Warehouse re. 50% off boots and shoes and I'm wondering if anybody has had any experience with these own brand footwear. They look good and are reduced from about £125 to half price. I would love to know how others have got on with them on the Camino.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
What footwear you use on the Camino depends on many factors which Camino you´re taking, which stages of that Camino, season, etc.

Regarding the mentioned advertising as I don´t know it I can´t help you there.

Buen Camino!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Thanks David great advice, I looked on the Amazon site and although the shoes I was interested in don't have any reviews, the few reviews of their other boots and shoes were very poor so I shall steer well clear. Thanks again.

@BoyRoger , why don't you try to see on a SportsDirect store, or even on millets.co.uk?

I live in Portugal, and I buy a lot of stuff from both of these websites. They even have free transportation fees for the whole UK.

Best Regards
Diogo

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Hi BoyRoger, I recommend that you investigate Go Outdoors, if you have a store in your area - failing that they have an efficient online shop too. They usually have well-known brands of boots at half price or thereabouts. I bought Berghaus Explorer Ridge boots for £65 in 2012 and have since walked the French and English Caminos, plus lots of training miles and they are still going strong enough to walk the Portugese next year too.

Buen Camino!
