Music at O Cebreiro

I arrived at O Cebreiro church just after noon on 28th September to find an unscheduled service finishing. It seemed like it was for a pilgrim group and they were clearly venerating the Virgin Mary with the most beautiful and haunting song / hymn. The song was the final part of the service before the dismissal.
Can anyone shed light on what the song / hymn might be?
I would love to be able to find it. It was one of the highlights of my Camino.

Hola Mike - I was there a few weeks ago and they sang this at the end of mass :


This is one of the traditional anthems in honour of the Virgin Mary. However in Spain as elsewhere they have many other hymns.

Thank you for the music John; it seems more formal than the sound that I can recall.
As an aside, I just bought your 'Spiritual Companion' book from Buckfast Abbey and am enjoying it very much.
It is helping me to digest my first Camino.

I'm glad you are enjoying the book. The other hymn which might have been sung is Santa Maria del Camino which is very popular in Galicia :
