My Camino starts 28 April 2013 from SJPP

I am from the North East of England and new to this forum.
Having had nearly six month of planning and preparation (Long distance walks on the weekends) I could take some annual leave end of April. I will hopefully arrive in St Jean Pied de Port on 28 April to start the next day.
As I can take only two weeks of, I will hopefully return in autumn to continue myCamino.
I am looking forwards and might meet some of you.

Welcome, and have a great time! You'll be walking one of the most varied sections of the Camino in terms of changing landscapes etc. You'll love it!

Check the alternative routes into Burgos, and try to avoid the one that takes you down the main road, because it's very industrial and not very nice.

Just three weeks left.
Having studied all the travel options, it appears that there are only three busses/trains from Bayonne to SJPP on Sunday 28.April (Morning, early afternoon and evening, arriving at 22:30 in SJPP)
I expect to arrive at about 15:00 in Bayonne railway station.

I would be happy to share a Taxi with a few others to go from Bayonne to SJPP earlier.
(I understand, that the taxi fare is Euro 90)

Anybody else going to be stranded in Bayonne on Sunday afternoon?? :lol:
