Can you do a multi day hike on the Cabot Trail? I know there are lots of day hikes in the park but is the actual Cabot Trail just a highway? Seems like a huge lost opportunity

Just a highway as far as I know with individual trails in the area like the famous ‘skyline’ trail.

It's a road trip. Even stopping for walks along the way during the spring months can be unappealing, given the massive number of mosquitos. At one point we saw a bear running along the side of the road, and another time a moose running along the side of the road, so you may have wildlife sitings without leaving your vehicle. Also, I recall lots of heavily fried food, although that may have changed in recent years.
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
