This is to introduce myself as a probable pilgrim. We ( three sisters and I ) are planning to do the pilgrimage in April next year and have just started the research. Which route, how many weeks, what to carry, and so on.Since we live in three different continents co ordination and sharing information is going to be the first hurdle! Happened upon this forum from a link on Peter Robins very informative site. I can't wait to read through the topics and find the answers to questions which are popping up all the time.

Thanks so much for your warm welcome. I especially want to thank Sil for her wonderful emails to me with pointers and tips. It has got me started in the right direction. I also found the post about fitness on her website http://ama-walker-walker.theboys.co.za/ absolutely invaluable.
