after 2 years thinking about walking the Camino and many hours reading this fabulous blog I am nearly there. I fly out of Sydney and arrive in SJPP on the 25 April.
One of the most valuable things I got from this forum was to not overplan so my plan is start walking and arrive in Santiago some 30+ days later.
Am I ready? Time will tell :)

Hi Steve. As another Steve from Australia, welcome.
I hope you enjoy your Camino, we did. The best advice is to take it easy and not walk too far each day.

Buen Camino, Steve. I'm beginning to countdown to my retirement (31 August) & starting my first Camino two weeks later. I can feel your excitement & I'm dying to get going myself.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

You need to email Orrison, if you call them they won't take a reservation over the phone, I tried ;-). It took about a week for them to respond, but they did respond.
I emailed them last week and again today, but nothing. I was about to call them. It's good to know they won't make them over the phone I'll keep trying to email them. Thank you
