New signage on the Camino

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
We saw that a lot in March and I for one got a bit annoyed by it as it would be potentially confusing for inexperienced pilgrims. This isn't an official thing, is it? It looks more like someone with a spray can tagging their way along the camino.

One would have to be naive to mistake that for a real Camino signpost as it's on a covering for a bale of hay, so it will probably not be there very long. Still, it is rude and annoying. Not to mention it's a piece of private property sitting on private property that some wannabe graffiti tagger idiot defaced.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
These arrows are everywhere along the Camino in Galicia, and it's paint, not spray can, won't be fading anytime soon. They were not there last november

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
We often saw them on the stone markers, on houses and walls - they will be there for a long time. If you are uncertain where to go and it is on a corner it can be very confusing. Reminds me of that home made symbol one spray can wielding pilgrim tagged all over the place a year or so ago? He was caught and made to remove them - there is a thread somewhere about it. I hate tagging on markers at the best of times but this arrow points in all sorts of directions and should be removed.

Unfortunate indeed; if your are a first-timer and not been participating in the forum (to know better), it could be a cause for
someone to become lost? or disoriented at best.
