Thanks for posting your video! We started out on Sept. 8, just a week behind you. It's nice to relive the walk on that first day! We kept saying the same thing — "Surely, the downhill starts soon ... how much more uphill can there be?!" LOL

Loved it. I have a colleague who has often said "It's all downhill Ellann, except for the uphill parts". Seems like it was mostly uphill. No way I would manage this stage in one go, especially walking further to Burguete.

You can only do what you can do. But the walk to Burguete was easy compared to the rest of it. And I had a little rest figuring out Roncesvalles didn't have a bed for me. Then, I just had to keep going.
