new to Camino

Hello everyone, and thanks for this forum. I will 69 years old when I walk part of the Camino for the very first time, from Sarria to Santiago. I am in excellent health, great shape. American lady, a bit of an introvert. What are the most important things for me to know?

When are you going? I'm doing that section too, end of April. It's my 5th Camino 'journey' .... you'll get 'hooked' too!
Pack light; wear comfortable footwear; stop when and where you need ; chat to fellow Caminoers - en route, and while exchanging daily anecdotes over a glass of vino in the evening; be yourself; enjoy the journey. You'll be back! Buen Camino Alice
