New Yorker walking in March 2010

My name is Tim. I am 21, from NYC, studying abroad for the semester in Barcelona. I will be walking for ten days from Ponferrada to Compostela from March 26th-April 4th. I just wanted to introduce myself and see if there were any others walking during this time who are from NY or around my age. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, Tim.

Although I won't be walking when you are, I was about your age when I walked the Camino in 1988 from Pamplona to Santiago- it was an experience that has stayed with me to this day.

I wonder if a visit to the Cloisters might be a good "intro" to the Camino?

Hello Tim. My husband and I are no NewYorkers, but are quite the same age as you since we graduated last year. And we'll be going almost the same way as you at the same time !
