Hello,

My name is Tim. I am 21, from NYC, studying abroad for the semester in Barcelona. I will be walking for ten days from Ponferrada to Compostela from March 26th-April 4th. I just wanted to introduce myself and see if there were any others walking during this time who are from NY or around my age. Thanks.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Welcome to the forum, Tim.

Although I won't be walking when you are, I was about your age when I walked the Camino in 1988 from Pamplona to Santiago- it was an experience that has stayed with me to this day.

I wonder if a visit to the Cloisters might be a good "intro" to the Camino?

Best of luck in Barcelona and on the Camino.

Good evening Timothy, I see you are on-line. I wish you well on in your planning & anticipation and admire that another young person is inspired to participate in Camino.

Buen Camino.

Hello Tim. My husband and I are no NewYorkers, but are quite the same age as you since we graduated last year. And we'll be going almost the same way as you at the same time !
 Ambasmestas - Santiago, 25th March - 3rd April (as you see, we plan to go slooooowly  I've no great trust into our rusted-Parisians abilities to cover much distance a day  )
We might very well meet ! :D
