Not Camino but You Might Feel the Effects!

La Liga, the Spanish soccer league opens tomorrow night. No important matches, Saturday Barcelona is playing late Sunday Real Madrid is playing late. The earlier matches start at 2000 and a certain tension may be felt, bars/cafes/restaurants may be busier than usual when you want to go eat. Spanish football aficionadoes are very loyal, boisterous during the matches, and noisy until very late at night should their team win. You have been warned.

To me these soccer games never presented a problem. you will gain less sleep, it they celebrate the patron saint of the town you are staying in.

Agreed... happened several times when hiking in late September to early October. Festivals are all nighters for many of the celebrants...and I might have joined them 40 years ago. Now, not so much!
