Oct 12 - National Day of Spain holiday

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
It's a national holiday, so all sorts of services would be affected - government offices, businesses, transportation schedules, etc. You would need to check first, if you are relying on any particular shop or service to be functioning.
 
The Castle in Burgos. It's where we actually found out that October 12 was a Spanish holiday! 😊 At that time, it was also a US holiday. We hiked up to visit the castle and found it closed. Still a nice walk up and perfect place to have our picnic lunch and take a few photos of the cathedral below.
