will start from StJ on 14 Sept, stopping in Orisson that night. So many friends and neighbours have asked "Who are you going with? Surely you aren't walking alone?" and I have said I am sure I will meet many friends en route, I will not be alone.

From one Englishwoman to another...
I walked alone from Roncesvalles in 2009 without any problems or hassle, and made a lot of friends. So long as you use commonsense you´ll be fine. Have a wonderful Camino!

I'm one day behind you. I've told people I'm going alone, but I won't be alone. My plan is to check into SJPP 15 Sep and Orisson 16 Sep. After that, only the Camino knows.
