Orrison full up. Stay in St. Jean?

Join our full-service guided tour of the Basque Country and let us pamper you!
Need to give a little more info. Do you arrive in St Jean late after a long travel?
Another option is to skip that first 5-6 km's to Orrison and do it by (shared)taxi. You then miss the km's, it is the part which goes steepest uphill, only 20(?) left to roncevalles, and enough 670(?) to SdC ;-)

Maybe you could stay in Hunto? Not so far from SJPP so a longer walk the next day to Roncesvalles, than if you stayed in Orisson, but might still be helpful. Depends when you arrive in SJPP.

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Should I stay in St. Jean? I will be pretty tired and I won't be carrying a tent on me. Any ideas please?
Thanks All. xo

If you are tired, stay, not a good idea to walk on if you are not fit. The pilgrims office in SJPdP can help you with accommodation and you can start early next morning well rested, SY

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
You can take the Valcarlos route and stop midway at the albergue in Valcarlos.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
