Pacerpoles - Walk Tall

Walk tall with Pacerpoles, they actually work(or is that help you to walk better & easier), & until you've tried you'll never know
They are very different to normal poles & in my humble opinion are far more efficient;
it wouldn't surprise me if the authorities put in a category for them: horse, bike, foot, foot/pp :lol:

Ps there is one drawback you cannot hold hands :lol: or is that 2 drawbacks we cannot......... :lol:
http://www.pacerpole.com/

one can order them & pay for them online or by snail mail, & they arrive pretty soon afterwards, they teach you how to use them properly, via video & literature.

pps I shall not go back to Leki or any other.......

Guides that will let you complete the journey your way.
Amen, hallelujah. These things are terrific. I used them in France for the September 2010 walk and the 2011 walk as well. On the 2011 walk, a German couple tried them out one morning and wanted to buy them off me on the spot, for any price. I turned them down -- a good thing, because they were not on offer at any shop in SJPP I saw.

Because of the flanged-handhold design, it is sooo comfortable, no wrist strain at all, lots of leverage to push when going uphill or to take shock off the knees on downhills.

I love love LOVE my pacerpoles!

The downside is that they're spendy, and in some albergues you are not allowed to carry walking sticks in. After leaving one albergue where the fellow's Lekis were stolen the night before, I refused to leave my Pacers in a barrel next to an open door in an alley in one large town, and sought alternate lodging that would allow them inside.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Can you not (hide) get them in your ruck sack :?:

Yes, but at the time I didn't expect to be accosted and told they were illegal!
It was such a strange conversation that to try to enter after it would have been, well, not possible. So. . . I left. It was ok.. .if they have crazy people beating each other over the head with walking sticks, I was happy to stay elsewhere :lol:

My wife and I both used Pacer poles last winter SJPP-Santiago-Finisterre-Muxia. Will never leave home without them. Great product.
