April 25 to May 15, 2023. Camino Portugues Coastal
Left Padron mid-morning today with the plan to stay overnight in Picarana and make the final push to Santiago tomorrow…about 9-10 miles. Once again, perfect weather for walking today and the path was mostly very pleasant. Passed by some gorgeous homes and farm land. Not much in the way of services or cafes along this stretch. While feeling a bit tired, anticipation is building for our arrival at the Santiago cathedral tomorrow hopefully by around 1 pm. Carrying our packs all the way, strained ankles and toes rescued by Compeed, it’s been a helluva journey! Going to take awhile to fully digest the experience. Buen Camino!!
