Can someone tell me how to get to the El Camino trail from the train station in Pamplona?
I do not speak english very well, not spanish! BUT ... "Camino" means "Road", "El Camino" means "The Road"! Something about the article ...And by the way, it is El Camino which means "the Camino."
If you say the "El Camino" you are saying the the Camino.
Just sayin'

A lot of people just use Camino, it's more handy! I, while walking on Spanish sites, use the name of El Camino when applicable. And by the way, it is El Camino which means "the Road."

Or for those of us who know "the Road" as "the Camino" . . .
Just sayin'
Pamplona old city is up a 30 meter hill, surrounded by a Roman Wall, from the train station. The yellow path will bring you into the city via the old roman gate. There is also an underground escalator that will bring you up the hill to the old city, Ascensor Urbano de Descalzo, marked by the brown path. 30 feet inside the old city gate is the Albergue Casa Ibarrola. Pamplona is worth an extra day. Buen Camino.

The red line is the Camino path.
The blue line is the quickest way to get into the path if you want to start walking after arriving.
