If you are over 60 and want up to 40% reduced bus fares in Spain go to http://www.alsa.es and find the 'Offers' section on their home page. You can sign up online for your free "BusPlus" card.

I've just found this today so I don't yet know if the card comes by post or as an online printoff.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Ah well - like Ryanair it's too good to be true. The response is initially by email, but there is no mention of a reduction in fares under 100 euros. Between 101 -200 you get a measly 5% off.

There is no mention of the "up to 40% " reduction anywhere.

Sorry!

It was interesting to contemplate, however. "Truth in advertising" is more of an oxymoron than ever, these days.
