We are having problems contacting a couple of Pensions for our Camino inJuly.

We are hoping to stay at Pension A Cepa in Fene and also Parrilladas a Reventar in Deixembre.

Unfortunately Spanish is not my strong point , so phoning them is a last resort, we have tried contacting both , by email and also I have written, but with no success. I expect we will get someone who speaks Spanish to contact them on our behalf nearer the time, but in the meantime has anyone had the same problems contacting these Pensions, or is it just the wrong time of the year, before they start taking bookings.

Neil, it could be time of the year. I am hoping to re-contact 8 establishments in Spain next week that either did not reply to my emails or who said I should come back to them in January.
Try using a google translation of your email query to small pensions or hotels.

Thanks Sil,

I did use Google for the translation into Spanish and Galacian, perhaps as you say its the time of year.
I'll wait for a while, untill they get over the Christmas & New Year before contacting them again.

thanks
Neil
