Pilgrim's Walking Staff

Time of past OR future Camino
2006 to date: Over 21 Caminos. See signature line
Does anyone know what metal they put on the BOTTOM of those pilgrim walking sticks you buy along the Camino?

Does anyone have a good photo they could share? I'm trying to explain it to a friend, but can't find a photo.

Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
A friend who made a walking stick for me used a carbide tip. Don't know if that helps.

Sheet metal (tin) from the hardware store. The staves are pretty basic.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
My walking staff [a staff, not a stick] had the type of rubber stopper that you see on the bottom of a medical crutch. Made it very quiet. No annoying clicking!
Buen camino
