Hi all
I'm so excited to put myself way out of my comfort zone and do the Camino solo in 2023 (looking at April/May, depending what route)

Due to work commitments, i can only really stretch the holiday to 3-3.5 weeks max :(

I would love some advice to the 3 possibilities i have come up with.

1. Camino France - this would be me pushing myself, carrying a day pack with essentials only and the rest being sent to ahead via the courier service. Some running involved and planned ahead. (Fit, currently trail run with 10kg weight vest)

2. Camino France - shorter route and go with the flow but i really want to do the complete route.

3. Camino Primitivo - carry everything and walk it unplanned.

Every holiday i been on was very well planned and organized with me brining excessive baggage hahaha

I'm really looking forward to the experience, and welcome any info, experiences and tips.

Thanks :)

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

All 3 sound great! Excited for you!

Remember that in those months the rain and slight cold can make an impact.

A friend and I are doing the Primitivo in May.

If you need a few more items, there are great luggage services available on both routes.

Buen Camino!!

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
