Does anyone know if I can park a car in safe location in ponferrada for 7 days of my Camino free of charge?

A Google search shows that there is free parking 24/7
next to the pilgrim Albergue San Nicolás de Flűe.

No problem parking your car at the above location. Mine has been there on and off during the past two weeks.

A car left in a parking lot for seven days will certainly attract attention - not necessarily from evil-doers -there are security people there both police and from the nearby train station. Abandoned? Lost? A medical emergency with the driver? Stolen? A terrorist vehicle? I would park as close as I could to the albergue and let the hospitilaire know that it is yours and that you will be coming back.
