Portuguese weather

I am walking the last 146 km from Oia Starting the 26th of August. I am from Australia. Is there anyone from Aussie that has walked at this time, would like to know how the weather is and if the heat is anything like ours..

Can rain can shine. We are now in Oia. Not very interesting place by the way.
Last today shine. Today on the way to Oia cloudy, now pouring with rain
The weather can change here within hours.
