Post Your Used Camino Gear

Time of past OR future Camino
2006 to date: Over 21 Caminos. See signature line
I started a group on Facebook called Used Camino Gear.
If you can't find it, friend me, Annie Santiago, and you'll find it in my groups.
Here is a link that may work:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/UsedCaminoGear/

It is a place where you can post your used Camino Gear for sale.
I'm hoping people can also picked up used gear.

It's been slow to get off the ground.
There is another group called Camino Marketplace, I believe, but it's often plugged up with commercial ads.
I was hoping this one would just be pilgrims posting their gear.
We'll see.
I'll try it for a few more weeks and see if anyone posts.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Annie, I just returned less than a week ago and was planning to sort out the stuff I don't need a little later in the month and list it, either here or there. I think this is a great idea and it's a shame if it doesn't work. The alternative is Ebay or Amazon I guess.

In the UK you can gift your gear (certain items, any make) to Rohan occasionally. The items requested are usually outer garments, trousers fleeces but what is needed is listed each time. They advertise when at shops and on the website and although it is partly marketing it is for a good cause. The donated items are given to groups which take youngsters hiking, especially those who are disadvantaged and cannot afford any gear.
This autumn's gift your gear has just ended but I expect/hope that there will be another in the spring. It is good to know that unwanted gear can help some-one in need and maybe one day that person will be inspired to walk the Camino.

A bit different to Annie's market place on Facebook, but an alternative for those not wanting to sell, or like us not on Facebook or E-Bay etc.
