Restarted CF exactly two years after Spanish lockdown interrupted our plans… it’s quiet about and much colder than March 2020.. but outside main towns opportunities for coffee seem very limited. For instance - we did the detour up to Venosa on our way to Najera. Nothing open at all. (Still worth it for the view from the church!) wonder if this will continue as we move along? I guess businesses aren’t finding it worthwhile to open just yet? Or sadly have closed? What are others finding? Any stretches where we need to make sure we have our own supplies?

If you are still in Najera or now in Azofra do stock up on trail snacks and water. It is a long way to Santo Domingo de la Calzada even in the best of times.
