As we were hiking to Arzúa today a lot of runners passed us. I spoke to a couple who said they were competing in a race to Santiago.
I looked online, but couldn't find any details.

Can someone tell me where to find information about the race? Where it started, how many km, etc?

Apparently it was a running race from Sarria to Santiago with a 24hour cutoff to finish. 110kms in under 24hours is one heck of a bed race. We were passed by many of the runners between Sarria and Palas de Reí yesterday. They were very considerate and gave peregrinos space and best wishes.
