Old brain and all this computer stuff really don't get along. I would rather be walking and I will be again soon! This post is really me trying to figure out how to post my departure on the calendar! I'll probably get to Santiago before I figure it out. Anyway, starting out on my first ever solitary walk from SJPdP on May 8th. My hubby is all nervous about this and doesn't think I should go "over" the Pyrenees but around them. Not happening as I have just quit smoking and can breathe again! So excited to be doing this again and hope to see many of you out there! Been Camino to all!!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

Very Best to you for each moment of your journey!! Have an Awesome time!!!!
I also did my 1st in 2017 beginning in May.

I can't figure out this calendar thing also. Anybody? Help!

No clue. Why is a calendar needed? Just one foot in front of the other is what I personally found to be relied upon. Again & again & again...day after day... : )

I like the calendar just because I like lists and keeping track of things. You do not want to see mine at home. Hum, is this an A personality or something. Anyway, Sigrid I saw that you are suppose to introduce yourself, then go to the upper right hand side of your new post, drop down the menu to where it says "calendar" and voila. What it all means, who knows. I see you are leaving before me (May 8th) so Buen Camino to you! If I am doing this wrong, hopefully one of the established Peregino/a can correct me.

Kind of part of the excitement of the planning stages! No other reason that I can see.

At home, lists, yes. Totally agree. On the Camino.....the moment. May you enjoy each one.

I don't know why, maybe it is just fun to see who will start the same day:) Do we always need very serious reasons for everything?
