Hi
I walked the CF a while ago and took this picture of a Madonna statue and it's bugging me that I can't remember where. Going by the date I imagine somewhere around Palas del Rei, about 60km from SDC.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I think it's in Melide. I have an almost identical picture, taken just after we'd eaten pulpo
at A Garnacha. We stopped as a group to fill up at a nearby water fountain.

It's a beautiful statue with Our Lady holding the brown scapular in her hand. As it
was just after Easter I belted out the Regina Caeli. It drew applause from an elderly
Spanish gentleman and an embarrassed silence from the rest of the group !

Where would we be without Google Street View !
The statue is in Plaza Constitution just off Rua Principal.
I was wrong about the water fountain being "nearby". It's actually
built into the statue !

Thank you so much. I've spent ages 'walking' through Google Earth trying to find it (next time - this September) I'll have GPS turned on on my camera phone.
It didn't help that my photo made the statue look really big, where in reality it looks quite small. :)

De nada Trevor.
The camera I took had GPS but I usually turned it off to save battery power! A dumb idea.
I've spent ages trying to piece together where some pictures were taken.

I was surprised how small the statue is. Like yours, my picture made it look far
bigger. If it hadn't been for my singing I doubt I'd have remembered it as well.
When I looked on Google maps I realised why the chap was sat outside. There's
a bar directly opposite !

Oh well, I was vaguely in the right area!
