Are there other reasons to take this alternate route on the Sanabres, other than the monasterio?

I don’t remember the views on arrival, but I definitely remember taking a walk up behind the monastery in the late afternoon. The view back down to the complex was really beautiful, sort of like the view you get on your entry into Samos or the view back to the monastery on the way out of the valley in Valdedios. I see you don’t need more encouragement, so I’ll just give you a pat on the back for having made such a wise decision to go to Oseira. You come down into a valley from a wooded ridgeline to reach Oseira, and the views are very nice.
Thankfully, I see I will be arriving at Oseira on a Tuesday...whew!It's a nicer walk than the other way which involves quite a bit of road walking.
Try not to be there on a Monday because both bars are closed.
