There are two private Albergue's in Salcedo. I stayed at the larger one. It is pretty new and will be perfect once he gets the washer and dryer hooked up. Sitting there, brand new, still in boxes. You have to go outside a few feet to use the showers but they are nice. The bathrooms are down stairs. A little in convenient. There is a unique bar next door. The woman who runs it is very nice. She cooked me a plate full of ham, eggs and peppers. It was delicious. The bar itself is not the cleanest place but it has it's own character.

I am currently in Santiago. Today was a 27km slog through the rain and fog. I am staying at the San Martin Hospederia seminario Mayor. If you face the Cathedral and go through the tunnel to the left, you are there. The standard room rate is 30 euro's with breakfast.

Ultreya and Buen Camino to all those still on your way.
