San Sebastian to Bilbao, or Reverse?

My wife and I have walked the Camino de Francis all the way to Finnisterre. We're looking at doing a shorter walk from San Sebastian to Bilbao. Or should we walk from Bilbao to San Sebastian? Would appreciate your views.

For the sake of ease of finding routes or if you like running into the same temporary friends, I’d always suggest going with the flow of traffic.

Hi, I would also recommend going with the flow of traffic, from San Sebastián to Bilbao. There are a few sections of the track which are single file and it would be annoying having to negotiate these with people coming the opposite way. It’s a lovely (and physically challenging) route in general, enjoy
