Wondering best way to travel from San Sebastián to SJPP on May first. Arrive San Sebastián at 11:30. Thanks

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi, give us a little more information about where you will arrive in San Sebastian.... and what date...

My immediate reaction is ALSA bus to Pamplona and local bus to SJPP.

Hi Bob,

which “San Sebastián“ are you talking about?

Is it San Sebastián city or San Sebastián airport, which makes a big difference?
San Sebastian airport is located right on the french/spanish border.
Just walk to Hendaye railway station (3km) and take the train to Bayonne, and further on to SJPdP.

Buen camino

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Easiest will be a train ( or bus or taxi ) over the border to French Hendaye, then train to Bayonne and one to Saint -Jean- Pied-de Port
This is the way I'm doing it. I'll be arriving the day before, and then spending the night on the "tapas tour", as suggested by this forum (yayyyy!)
There's a 0715 train out of San Sebastian for Bayonne I think. I believe the one in the morning is in SJPP about 2hours later.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
