Going the last 100K in May 2019
I will be walking Sarria to Santiago the second week of May. I have never walked the Camino, and I don't know how busy that segment of the Camino is in Mid-May. If I walk without reserving lodging, am I likely to find lodging each night? Thoughts from anyone who has walked Sarria-Santiago during this time of the year?

I had no problems finding albergues during that time last year except for Portomarin. There were lots of school classes on the camino then. I went to the next village and really liked the albergue there Casa Garcia in Gonzar.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Thank you. I will take note of Casa Garcia in Gonzar. Appreciate your help!

it should be busy, you may want to book ahead.
however, there is usually another option a couple kilometres down the road and it is easy to call and find out.
good luck and Buen Camino
