I am walking my fourth Camino and arriving Oct 6 at 11:55 a.m. from Madrid. Sun Transfers is 76.00 to Ferrol and if you want to split the fare it will save a couple of hours getting downtown on the bus and then bus back to Ferrol.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Welcome to the Forum, abraxian!

Just a note that trains are available from La Coruña to Ferrol as well, for quite cheap and just a 1 hour 20 minute ride. Here's a sampling for October 6: https://www.goeuro.com/travel-search2/results/535605809/train

The taxi from the LCG airport to the train station is about 15 minutes, probably about 20€.

However you get to Ferrol, we wish you a Buen Camino!

There is also a bus that runs from the airport to Ferrol, however when we tried to catch it the bus just dropped people off slammed its doors and drove off leaving a bunch of us standing in the pouring rain. A local explained that this often happened, as the weather was foul and roads clogged with traffic it meant that the driver couldn't complete the trip before his shift ended and rather then apply for overtime had decided to go home early... While we were less then impressed but the taxi fare for a couple of us wasn't that much different then the bus fares would have been.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
