My wife and son are arriving around 1900 on 30th June at Biarritz Airport and are planning to take a taxi to St Jean. Is anyone interested in sharing?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Another thing you can do is walk to the main airport entrance and look for fellow pilgrims -- packs, shells, patches, anxious expressions :). Ask if anyone would like to share a taxi, or if anyone has space to share a ride. I'm sure you'll have no problem getting a few takers. :)

Very good idea. They are flying in from Southampton, though no doubt there are other flights arriving around the same time.
