I'm interested in doing camino frances in april may or june 2013 and would like to travel with someone who knows how to get there easily and return from santiago or finisterre. I have already done french bit from Le Puy in 2012 :D

Hi Wendyjoy

You might want to check out flying into Paris then training down to St Jean and stay overnight.

Check out the hostel Orisson which is out of St Jean and a recommended stop if you choose to cross over the Pyrenees route.

I did this camino twice and enjoyed it as will you.

Happy planning

Buen Camino

Hi Wendy,

I'm a little confused on the departure date, your subject title says Aug 2013, but in the text you refer to April May or June .

I too am from Melbourne and will be travelling to Paris late in May, having walked over the Pyrenees from SJPP before I'm choosing to fly on a cheap domestic flight to Madrid then bus to roncessvalles ( the traditional Spanish start point )

FYI I got a great return airfare to Paris $1290 (Vietnam air) there are some good early bird deals available right now but they are selling quick.

hi frank, this is the same reply as in the private message I sent just in case private message doesn't get through. I'm very interested in your travel details as they sound similar to my thoughts. I sent you my mobile number in a private message so let me know if that doesnt come through. Would you prefer to SMS and I ring you?

I tried to reply to your pm but got an SQL error message,

Your PM didn't get to me, I could see the shaded quote of what I wrote, but not anything written by you, not sure what is going on , tapatalk application was recently updated on the iPad, maybe that is the problem.?

PM isn't Woking at my end maybe you could resend?

Are you using TapaTalk? (The mobile forum-program). If so, there is a problem sending PMs. Try it on the computer, that works.

I am working on fixing this.

Saludos,
Ivar

Hi "walkingtotheend",
I would love to hear more about your travel arrangements in April 2013 as it is the travel arrangements that I find difficult, websites and such. I find the walking once I get there much more straight forward. My mobile is 0417 011 923 and I would be happy to ring you if you want to text me so I can chat to you.
