This product may be fine, and you can't beat the price, but it is made of "artificial silk."I used these in two Caminos along with my wife. Can't beat price.

Yip, TrekSilk offers both, the synthetic silk and the "real deal".This product may be fine, and you can't beat the price, but it is made of "artificial silk."
I just bought two Browint XL last month, for me and my wife, for CP in early October.I'm deciding between the Browint XL liner, available on amazon for $64 US and the Lone Wolf Special Edition liner, available from the treksilk website for $50 plus shipping. The Lone Wolf ships from Vietnam and takes a few weeks, the Browint is available on amazon prime right now and could be here as soon as tomorrow.
Both are silk, wide (I feel claustrophobic in mummy bags) and very lightweight.
Does anyone have any feedback specifically about either of these bags? or another comparable recommendation to share? I'm walking from SJPDP in early September and plan to carry a liner and lightweight blanket instead of a full sleeping bag.
thanks for responding. Do they seem ok? the reviews on amazon say they are very light - is the weight and stitching what you expected? And do you have any concerns now that you have them in hand? Any specific feedback about the items you've purchased would be appreciated!I just bought two Browint XL last month, for me and my wife, for CP in early October.

I used a Ohuhu sleeping bag, 720g. Currently Amazon has similar model, a bit heavier and its $21. I haven't used them constantly yet, it was just tested by my wife. It's ok as a product, the stitches are ok. A full review can only be done after arriving in Santiago, I hope, in mid-October.thanks for responding. You must have incredible patience and excellent skills. I *hate* working with silk…. Many, many, many tears putting silk linings into boned bodices, panelled dinner vests, etc.I make my own silk sleep sacks.
As wide and long as a twin mattress, and with a separate pillowcase, because I found that the pillow pocket on others didn't allow me to scrunch up my pillow the way that I like it.
It also has a zipper part way down the side, and elastic straps that keep it neatly on the mattress without twisting around me.
It's just straight line sewing, and I use a serger for much of it. Now sewing silnylon fabric - that requires more patience!!You must have incredible patience and excellent skills. Can I ask what sleeping bag you used?I haven't used them constantly yet, it was just tested by my wife. It's ok as a product, the stitches are ok. A full review can only be done after arriving in Santiago, I hope, in mid-October.
I will take it together with a sleeping bag, which together weigh only 650 gr.
Can I ask what sleeping bag you used?
