Spain sees sharp drop in daily coronavirus deaths

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Thanks for sharing this, Ivar. I'm so happy to see a ray of hope.

Spain's daily new case count has plateaued and we will see it trending downward. The number of active cases will follow. Fatalities will follow a less predictable, but still downward trend. There is still sadness ahead. We will lose some of the people that we treasure in Spain and around the world. But the examples of China, Italy, and Spain show us that lockdowns - though they may be blunt, disruptive, and costly - are an effective tactic to stifle the spread of this virus. Spain will develop more refined tactics to allow life to return to a more normal pattern, pending the development of a vaccine that will bring us out of this crisis for good.

Thinking of you and everyone in Spain. Stay strong.

Hopeful news for Spain, who have been hit so hard, thank you Ivar.

We are still rising in the UK - 684 died yesterday, bringing our total deaths to 3,605 ... our scientists say that we won't peak for at least a couple of weeks.

Everyone - stay safe out there ... I think this is a great way to change the lockdown mindset ....

Ivar, it has been so sad to watch this virus affect the friendly people of Spain over the last 6 weeks and any ray of hope is very welcome. Let us all pray for the people of Spain for this downward trend to continue and once again Spain shall prosper!!
