hi, my name is christina. I am an American, live in Baja Mexico half the year. I was going to walk the Colorado trail but just couldn't imagine a 30 or more backpack on my back. I am 62 but most people think i am 10 years younger so this is how i plan to stay that way! i love to walk, love nature, love people ...check out my strange web site....walkwithnature.org...thats the real me, although i wouldn't tell everybody!

Have no fear, you will find many partners along the Camino. The Camino is walked alone, always, but it is also walked together. Togetherness is impossible not to experience, but we are always responsible for our actions, no? I am reminded of a two visions. One is of hell where everyone sitting around the dinner tables only hand extra long handled spoons. In fact, they were such long handles that each person could not get a spoonful of soup in their mouths and the soup was all falling on the floor with much wailing and tears from the hunger that each was feeling. It was a terrible sight seeing so many starving souls pulling their hair out and yet food sitting right before them. The vision is of heaven. You looked into a room where everyone is laughing and eating at tables. They each have a single long-handled spoon. Each was lifting their spoon and feeding others at the table and in doing so each was comforted and all rejoiced. The difference between heaven and hell is a question of loving service to our fellow humans. The saying, when we are in the service of our fellow man, we are in the service of our God is never more true than on the Camino.
