Hello, if I have understood correctly ( and chances are good that I haven't, haha!) this is the first step to adding myself to the calendar? My husband and I fly from the west coast of Canada on August 4th, arriving in Madrid on the 5th. We are taking the bus to Burgos and walking to Tardajos that evening. In 2013 we walked from St. Jean Pied de Port to Belorado before meeting up with our daughter and spending two weeks travelling in Spain. This time we will dedicate our full month to the Camino. We plan to walk to Santiago and then onward to Finisterre and Muxia before returning home on September 5th. We made some very good Camino friends on our last trip and look forward to our new adventures in a few weeks.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Welcome to the Forum!

On your first night stopping in Tardajos are you staying at La Fabrica? This newly opened hostel/albergue in a renovated flour mill is great! They offer both dorm and private accommodation plus delicious food. LasĹĄ November when I stayed it was busy with hunters.

Buen camino!

Welcome back, wish you both a wonderful journey and a Buen Camino, Peter.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Yes we are! We have reserved a private room - hoping for a good nights sleep (I can dream can't I?). Glad to hear that you enjoyed it. We will look forward to it that much more!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
