My daughter and I look forward to walking our Camino and all that goes with it. We are from New Orleans.
My husband and I will also be leaving around then. We might be a few days ahead of you guys. We are from CA and it will be our first Camino. Buen Camino !

Lindalou, My daughter is 22 and graduating from college this week. We have talked about walking the Camino for years. This seemed like a fitting time to go. I hope we meet on the way.I will be leaving SJDP on May 29. I did this trip 4 years ago with my then 15 year old daughter. Best decision of our lives. How old is your daughter?
Tibi, Buen Camino. We will look out for you, but we will be a day ahead (at least in the beginning). We arrived in SJPdP today. The weather is lovely and the town so beautiful that we joke about just staying here.hello I'm arriving in SJPDP on the 28, start to walk the next morning. I'll have orange shoes and a green backpack, feel free to say hi! Have a nice trip and Buen Camino!

We had some jet lag to get over so we are staying at a lovely and quiet B&B for two nights called Erracaldia. It's just outside the gate of St Jacques at 5 Chemin de la Porte St Jacque. 45 euros for 1 or 65 for 2. It's off the pilgrim radar, but was recommended to us and we love it.Any recomendation for albergue? So far Beilari is an option.
