We are a couple from Canada in our 60's trekking the camino frances starting on April 1 from SJPdP. We hope to meet many fellow pilgrims.

HI there - I too plan to start then and complete one week. Will finish next 3-4 weeks beginning the end of Sept 2015. Also 60 and from FingerLakes in New York

Wow...so many starting on April 1st....my friend and I (57 & 78 year olds) will start in SJPDP on 1st or 2nd April 15...I am imaging we will meet a lot of different people as we will be SLOW! Going to give it a good go!!! ...who knows we might just make it to Santiago! I know what it's like to feel like jumping out of ones skin with excitement! Can't beleive dreams can come true!! BUEN CAMINO everyone.

Well even though I am a bit younger I am no speedy gonzales myself either but it's all about doing our own thing isn't it?! Fantastic that your dream is coming true and that's the most important! Buen Camino!

Hello fellow Canadians... I walked the CF in Sept. 2012 and have been hooked on Camino since then. I am thinking of walking the Camino again this April but haven't decided which route to take (Camino Portugues or back on CF route again). I am from Toronto and same age as you and hopefully I'd get to meet you both if I decide to walk the CF. Buen Camino.

Nice to hear from you. You seem to be an experienced walker. All the best to you Foxierya and it would be great to meet you whatever you decide.
