This will be my 4th time on the Camino. I have never done the whole thing yet but hope to do it all this time. I will skip one section - either Pamplona to Burgos or Burgos to Leon but it is so hard to choose because I love it all. I fly iinto Pamplona arriving Sept 12 and will bus to SJPDP. Will I see any of you there?

Hello, I will be starting my first Camino on Sept. 13th! Staying overnight in Orisson.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I assume you start in Saint-Jean. On the 12th, I will be sleeping at Gite Bidean; I booked it on bookings.com. I am also booked for Orisson on the 13th and for Roncesvalles on the 14th... Taking the bus from Pamplona on the 12th at 2:30 pm. See you, maybe...

Hello Danielle,

I will be 67 years old on the 13th! Doing my first Camino, I arrive in SJPP on the 11th, having flown from Calgary. I will be staying outside of SJPP at Chambres d'hotes Esponde Marie-Jeanne for two nights. I too am booked at Orisson for the 13th and Hostal Rural Haizea for the 14th.

Betty, I have looked up Chambres d'hotes Esponde Marie-Jeanne but it shows it in Saint-Jean-Le-Vieux which is about 4 k from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. I wonder what made you decide to stay there rather than in St-Jean-Pied-de-Port? And I wonder if your path takes you past St-Jean-Pied-de-Port? btw Happy Birthday in case I don't meet you on the 13th.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hello Danielle, I had booked a dorm bed in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port then I read on the forum that given it was my first Camino it would be better to stay in a hotel and get a good sleep. When I went to change my reservation Saint-Jean-Le-Vieux was one of the few places available. Since I arrive on the 11th I think it will be good to have time to get "acclimatized" etc. and I won't mind the walking back and forth. If I don't see you before I will see you at Orisson for sure.

im starting with my companion on the 13th at st jean (she may be going ahead on here own after a couple of weeks , shes trying to get me out of my comfort zone)
have nothing booked ,may bite us but thats how we want to play it ,but will be exausted after arriving by train (plus small bus ride)

You will love it so much, you won't want to leave. Take it from a 71 year old addict! Buen Camino.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
i really hope so (sure i will) it will certainly be different ,havnt been abroad in the best part of 2 decades ,2 negatives have happened to make it possible ,losing my amazing dog (he was 15.5) in may ,this really hurts still
and been made redundant so im at a sort of crossroads in my life

[/QUOI am sorry you lost your dog. Good luck with the Camino. I walked with a couple from Buckfastleigh last year. Not too far from you. They love it. They come each year for two weeks at a time. See you on the Camino maybe.
