Hi All,

I've been following the forum for a couple years planning my first Camino this Fall. I had been caring for my friend Nancy who died of lung cancer last year and my mother who passed away this past November. My Camino gives me the chance to step back and make some decisions on what I want to do the next few years. It also gives me the time and space to mourn. I am excited and anxious about this adventure. I have some limitations due to a stroke so have stared to train to hopefully add some strength and flexibility. I fly out of Montreal arriving in Barcelona 9/5/18. I've set aside six weeks, hopefully finish the Camino in 30-35 days leaving some time to explore Florence. At 56 it's all an adventure! I hope to connect with a few of you along the way!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hello Micah,
I will be arriving madrid on 9/5/18 and bus/train to sjpp and hope to begin the walk on 9/6 or 9/7. Maybe we will stumble across each other along the way?

Not long to go now, Micah. I would like to wish you a safe, healthy, happy and blessed camino. It’s time to look after yourself now.
Buen camino, peregrino.
And buen camino to you too, Jackie.

Hi Heda,

Thank you. I’m sure the Camino will provide whatever journey I need! I always tend to care for the other so it’s a challenge to do something for me But come what may I believe it will be all good!
