Hi All,
I've been following the forum for a couple years planning my first Camino this Fall. I had been caring for my friend Nancy who died of lung cancer last year and my mother who passed away this past November. My Camino gives me the chance to step back and make some decisions on what I want to do the next few years. It also gives me the time and space to mourn. I am excited and anxious about this adventure. I have some limitations due to a stroke so have stared to train to hopefully add some strength and flexibility. I fly out of Montreal arriving in Barcelona 9/5/18. I've set aside six weeks, hopefully finish the Camino in 30-35 days leaving some time to explore Florence. At 56 it's all an adventure! I hope to connect with a few of you along the way!
