Hey! I'm from GA and will be starting the Camino September 24. Planning to fly to Madrid to see my daughter for a few days and arrive in SJPP on Sept. 23. Will start bight and early on the 24th. I did 3 days of the Camino with my daughter in late March and I knew I had to finish it! Can't wait to begin again and see how the journey unfolds. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Hi Kathy, I'm from Victoria, BC and will start from St. Jean Sept 25, so who knows; I may catch up to you. Stay with this forum and you will discover as much help (in different threads) as you probably need. Welcome and Buen Camino.

Hi Kathy, you will have a great time. Meeting lots off people along the way and making new friendships. I wish you well and a Buen Camino, Peter.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Kathy and Maggie,
I' am also starting on 24th of September. Maybe see you on the trail. Would be good to have some company. :)

Welcome and Buen Camino.
As far as advice goes... read this forum! :p
And...

Buy good trail runners and a good pack - they will be your best friends
Pack light - if you aren't sure if you should take it, leave it home.
Have no expectations at all - just go with the flow of the Camino
