Where are you going to sleep if the albergue has fewer places than 26? And where are others going to sleep once you have taken over the albergue. There are fewer options on the Portugues than on the Frances. Many years ago I got the last bed in Miraz on the Norte. It had only 16 beds and an Italian group of 8 had arrived with their guide. The “overflow” had to sleep in the very unfinished future annex and one family of 3 in a tent.

Well, that said, I wish you luck with your “charges” - bom camino!

My group, like me, are “ ensuitepilgrims” - at our tender age, we avoid Albergues .
I booked all our accommodation, last September.
So the Albergues will be free for those who need them.

Brillant! And what organisation for so many people! So did I, by the way, for my camino this year on the Portugues with children and grandchildren which was difficult enough for only seven.

And I repeat Good Luck! And bom camino!
(maybe you can, from time to time, let us know how you are faring!?)
