I am currently walking the Camino and would like to have a tattoo of the shell when I reach Santigo. Does anyone know if there is a reputable tattooist in the town?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

There are several tattoo parlours quite close to the cathedral. Its as good excuse as any to wander the old town to find one you like. I cannot tell you how reputable they might be.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I can't comment on any of the studios in Santiago but I've got a few tattoos and the one thing I've found is that the better the artist the longer the waiting list. A good artist will tend to be booked weeks or months in advance. Places where you can walk in and get done off the street... it's a gamble, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

Depends on what you want done. If it's just something picked off a flash and stencilled on... should be OK. For a custom piece I'd really want to do some homework, shop around, check portfolios, etc.

I've got a "spur of the moment" tattoo on the inside of my upper arm (luckily where you can't really see it). I keep telling myself "at least it is spelt right" :D

I wanted to get a shell tattoo in Santiago and went to 2 parlours. I was not impressed with either so left it until I returned home.

I was considering getting a tattoo in a rather personal place. Most of the year it would just read "Santiago" but occasionally (birthday, anniversary etc) it would read "Santiago de Compostela" ;)

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
I went to a place called Sangre Sagrada or Sangre Sancto - I forget which. The owner sat down with me and drew a concha for me. I wanted it to look like a passport sello. He drew one for my son as well, sort of a mix between the concha you see on all the signs and an arrow. He is very experienced and creative and artistic and speaks English perfectly.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I'd be more concerned with the cleanliness of the shop. But I'd look at a portfolio as well. we call crappy artists "Scratchers" here in the states and they arena dime a dozen...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
