REVISION: I am arriving in Madrid at 0640 on May 23 for my first Camino. I reserved a seat on the train from the Atocha station to Pamplona, arriving at 1:45 in the afternoon. Anyone looking for a ride share to SJPDP that day in the afternoon, at about 2:00 pm?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Well, you’ll not get a train from Barajas though you could look for a bus. Otherwise it’s the 10:35 from Atocha but you’ll have missed the 12:00 bus run by ALSA and there aren’t any others scheduled yet.
It’s worth contacting the prospective cab firms in advance, they may have others already looking for a share. Otherwise the general advice is look out for other pilgrims and make contact on the ground. It’s likely that only a very few of the pilgrims getting off that train and wondering where the French bit is will have ever visited this forum.
Of course you could just start walking west from Pamplona but lots of aspirants have trouble with that concept

Jimenez runs bus service from Bajaras to Pamplona. They also leave from the Avenida de Americas bus station. You can take Yellow Express bus to transfer from any terminal at Bajaras to Atocha Station for 6 euros if you want the train.

I am arriving in Madrid at 0640 on May 22 for my first Camino. I hope to catch the earliest train from the Barajas airport to Pamplona and then maybe find a ride share to SJPDP. Anyone looking for a ride share that day in the early afternoon?
From 16/03/2023 to 12/10/2023 there is a bus from Pamplona to SJPDP that leaves at 12:00 and arrives at 13:45
