It is hard to believe but the sun is finally shining in Biarritz for the first time in so many weeks. I think this bodes well for crossing the Pyrenees. There is no rain in the forecast for as many day as I can trust the forecasting and the temperatures at sea level are going to be in the mid teens for several days to come. Enjoy.

Now I'm really thinking "What was I thinking?" But one thing's for certain--You won't find me ignoring good advice come Monday morning. If I were in Korea, perhaps, since I can't read a word of the writing. But not in St Jean. And I have a healthy respect for mountains and weather. They can look so innocent, so pretty, but don't care one bit whether we live or die....
